MOSCOW, June 18 (PRIME) -- Russia ranked the world’s third largest oil producer after the U.S. and Saudi Arabia in April, losing its second position for the first time since November 2018, the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI) said in a report on Thursday.
Russia’s oil output rose by 68,000 barrels per day, or by 0.6%, on the month to 10.678 million barrels per day.
The U.S. produced 12.143 million barrels per day in April, down 4.5%. Saudi Arabia increased its output by 23.4% to 12.007 million barrels per day.
